December, 21-22 2024
On December 21-22, 2024, the WCF World Show was held in Vilnius, Lithuania, organized by the Alpha Catum association. This event was a special occasion for the Transylvanian Cattery as we presented our own third-generation male kitten, the 5-month-old Orion Grey Heart.
Lithuania is one of the three Baltic states, known for its rich historical and cultural heritage. Its capital, Vilnius, is famous for its Baroque architecture, charming old town, and vibrant cultural life. The old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is filled with churches, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks. Vilnius’ unique atmosphere, blending modernity with tradition, provided the perfect setting for the WCF World Show.
VILNIUS WORLD SHOW GREY HEART CATTERY PRESENTATION STAND
This was Orion’s first exhibition, and we are proud that he was able to perform outstandingly at such a young age. During the table evaluations, he received an Excellent 1 rating on both days, highlighting the exceptional qualities characteristic of the breed. After an initial shyness, Orion quickly adapted to the exhibition environment and behaved like a true show cat, capturing the attention of the visitors.
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the Christmas FUN Show, where Orion took first place among many beautiful cats. This achievement not only demonstrated Orion’s unique appearance but also his balanced nature and the potential inherent in our breed.
We would like to express our gratitude to the organizers of the Alphacatum association for the professional management and to the local exhibitors for their hospitality. We also thank the judges for their recognition and the visitors for their interest, which contributed to the special atmosphere of the event.
This successful performance has reinforced our belief that Orion Grey Heart will play an important role in promoting our Transylvanian breed. We eagerly look forward to future exhibitions where we can continue to showcase the unique qualities of our breed and our dedication to breeding.
